Recently approved for the North American market, the BonusBox displays and dispenses physical prizes right at the game, allowing casinos to stock them with anything from cash, to tickets and iPods. And thanks to the Wide Area Relay System, JackpotJunction can now communicate winning amounts at multiple properties. Gaming Partners International President Greg Gronau calls the highlight of G2E 2011 something he found lacking at other recent events: buyers. “You see a lot of people now looking at spending money next year on capital expenses and upgrades to their systems,” Gronau said. “It’s pretty exciting.” With that shift, company executives were eager to transfer products like the new Chip Inventory System (CIS) 2.0 and Dual Level Chip Tray from the show floor to the casino floor. Aruze's Vice President of Marketing Steve Walther summed up the company's G2E 2011 offering well, “We’ve got it all in our product line: from steppers, to video, to video poker, to multi-station games, to link games.” Watch this video to see Four Chinese Beasts and Fortune Festival™ in action. Four Chines Beasts features Aruze's Radiant Reel Technology with 240 LED lights on the reels, which move backward and forward at up to 200 revolutions per minute. The stepper reel game has a wheel-style video bonus game on the top-box as well. Fortune Festival is housed in a bank of colorfully packaged and themed cabinets with a top screen. It offers three basic games that can link together with a 5-level progressive in which the top level is linked. Watch to see the entire bank light up to highlight a jackpot win. Now that's creating excitement for the player.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Multimedia Games had no shortage of new and improved games to showcase this year at G2E. Watch to see Senior Vice President of Sales Mick Roemer demonstrate MoneyBall™, one of the company's five new High Rise Games™. It features a fun pinball bonus on the 37-inch vertical LCD screen top box. Roemer also demonstrates Treasure Tunnel in this video. Based on an old, successful game, Treasure Tunnel is a dollar game that uses traditional symbols and original sounds with a combination of mechanical and video. Be sure to watch through to the end of the video to see who won this year's TournEvent competition between Roemer and Associate Editor Sarah Klaphake.
