Produces Film on KP3 System Launch

New York, N.Y.—Sirk Productions has completed production on a promotional film for Konami Gaming Inc’s new dynamic KP3 system, the next generation 3D graphic platform for slots offering gamers new and exciting real-time graphics and skill based games where players have an actual impact on the amount of credits they can win. Sirk filmed at Konami headquarters in Las Vegas, combining live action elements with 3D motion graphics.

The latest production is part of Sirk’s long-term relationship with Konami. Sirk has worked closely with Konami for the past several months providing a variety of integrated long and short form videos spotlighting new products, logo designs, 30- and 60-second video spots for company websites and gaming expos.

For G2E, the Gaming Industry’s largest expo, Sirk Productions was in charge of creating a dazzling art installation, fusing art and video.  Two 15-foot high steel and fiberglass trees with LCD monitor displays for leaves were installed at the Konami booth.  “Konami wanted something really spectacular that would grab the audience and make a powerful statement,” said John L. Sikes, President of Creative Services for Sirk Productions.

In addition, Sirk sat down with Konami executives to complete a short documentary that discussed what Konami Gaming has in store for the Gaming Industry in the near future. The film focuses on new product launches, Konami’s culture and was filmed at the 2010 G2E in Las Vegas.  “Konami has never before produced videos focused on the company, its products and company leaders,” Max Yampolsky, Managing Director of Creative Services at Sirk said.  “They now view this kind of content as an indispensable part of their marketing and communications strategy.”

Leah Steinhardt, Konami’s Marketing Manager, expressed that, “stepping into the video arena for the first time for us was an intimidating proposition. However, throughout the process, Sirk has proven to be a most experienced partner consistently bringing their extensive knowledge and creative ideas to the table.”  She added, “We look forward to working together on many future projects.”
