ONAMIA, Minn. – The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe’s Corporate Commission, along with Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley, are pleased to announce the hiring of Jim Orr as director of advertising and brand strategy. Orr will lead Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley’s advertising efforts and will be responsible for creating and maintaining Grand Casino’s brand strategy.
Orr brings a distinguished 20-year track record of success in the casino entertainment and advertising industry to his new role. Most recently, Orr served as Pechanga Resort & Casino’s director of brand marketing and advertising where he was responsible for all brand advertising and re-positioning of Pechanga’s advertising campaign.
“Jim possesses the perfect combination of casino advertising expertise, which makes him distinctively suited to lead our advertising and brand strategy initiative,” said Lorraine Cebollero, corporate vice president of marketing for the Corporate Commission. “His proven track record of success at other gaming enterprises gives our organization great confidence that he will bring the same ingenuity to Grand Casino.”
Throughout his career, Orr has held a myriad of executive positions in the advertising industry, from leading New York ad agencies such as BSB, Saatchi & Saatchi, and FCB, to prominent casino gaming organizations such as Ameristar Casinos, Isle of Capri Casinos, and Pechanga Resort Casino.
