One of the most unique and exciting aspects of working in gaming is our industry’s commitment to workplace diversity and equal opportunities for the professional advancement of all people regardless of ethnicity, gender, religious affiliation, or sexual preference.

At its core, the gaming industry defines a pioneering drive to promote workplace equality, including the inalienable rights of employees to express their unique personal, moral, and social choices. Likewise, women are quickly becoming a powerful symbol reflecting our industry’s groundbreaking workplace diversity and unprecedented professionalism.

Please join Casino Enterprise Management magazine Feb. 11-13, as we host the Great Women of Gaming Conference, Awards Ceremony, and Gala at Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa, and Casino, in Las Vegas, Nev.

This unique inaugural event promises to honor female gaming industry professionals at or above directorship level, who show unwavering commitment to an ever-changing and exciting future as we take gaming to a whole new success level.

Reflect
During CEM’s Great Women of Gaming Conference, Awards Ceremony, and Gala, you will have the opportunity to:

• Attend the All-Conference Luncheon where American Gaming Association Senior Vice President and Executive Director, Judy Patterson, will discuss industry-specific workplace diversity. Discussion participants also include: Punam Mathur, executive vice president of corporate diversity, MGM Mirage; Lesley Pittman, vice president of corporate and government relations, Station Casinos; Dorothy Jackson, vice president of government affairs, American Gaming Association.
• Witness gaming’s workplace diversity firsthand at our Awards Ceremony as Ernie Stevens Jr., chair of the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA), helps reward the most powerful women in gaming who hold positions at director level or above.
• Attend All-Conference Gatherings, which will include keynote speakers: E.D. Hill, from Fox and Friends, Fox News Channel, and author of Going Places; Hilary Kramer, AOL finance and money editor; Lynn “Nay” Valbuena, executive secretary, NIGA, and chair, Tribal Alliance of Sovereign Nations.
• Participate in the Executive Town Hall Meeting, Tuesday, Feb. 13, when attendees and speakers will discuss women’s role in the future of gaming.
• Pay tribute to all women who work in our diverse industry as they redefine the gender gap and shatter a constantly faltering glass ceiling.

Discuss
Not only will the Great Women of Gaming Conference, Awards Ceremony, and Gala enlighten participants with its insightful panel discussions, but unlike other conferences, ample time will be devoted to engaging in meaningful dialogue with colleagues about gaming as we converge with an exciting, lucrative, diverse future.

Conference discussion topics include: Financial Management and Independence; Mentoring, Inspiration, and Life Balance; Women Professionals in a Male-Centric Industry; and Gaming Business Trends: A Woman’s Perspective.

Celebrate
While the conference promises to provide meaningful, evocative, and inspiring stories and ideas by gaming’s top females, The Great Women of Gaming Conference, Awards Ceremony, and Gala will also give you the opportunity to honor all that women give to the gaming industry at our celebratory Awards Ceremony and Gala.

So, get that favorite dress to the dry cleaners and be prepared to cut a rug with CEM’s venerable publisher, Peter Mead, as we dance our way to a future of equality, success, and distinction.
