Casino Data Imaging—CasinoTLK™
Casino Data Imaging introduces CasinoTLK™, a fully enabled SMS-CRM hosting program that was specifically developed for the casino industry. People read and respond to SMS messages faster than with any other form of communication, which means SMS is the perfect way to not only market to an individual, but also to attain feedback from that individual. CasinoTLK can be used to market services to existing and potential customers, schedule and manage customer appointments, interact with a company’s database, merge with spreadsheets and market interactively. A modem, SIM card and CasinoTLK software are easy to install, and they allow a casino operator to immediately generate promotional leads, create marketing campaigns and dynamic pricing offers (i.e., for food and/or entertainment inventory), and much more. With a low cost and easy implementation, the CasinoTLK dashboard makes it a breeze to manage contacts and groups; to gather, manage, analyze and report information; to interact with a database; and to create SMS promos. By creating a two-way, interactive connection between patron and casino, CasinoTLK SMS-CRM drives revenue straight to the bottom line while also building long-term customer relationships. Blue Point Books—Contemporary Casino Table Game Design
Just 25 years ago, blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat were the mainstay of casino table games. With Caribbean Stud®, Let it Ride®, Three Card Poker® and the Texas Hold’em boom starting in 2002, the landscape of the casino has been dramatically transformed. New table games, bonuses, progressives and side bets are flooding the market. Today almost every casino offers a wide selection of proprietary table games. Eliot Jacobson’s book was written to fill the information gap between game developers, casino management and players. For developers, this book offers a thorough explanation of the principles of game design. For management, it explains the essential information necessary to the game selection process. For players, it gives insights into what’s going on behind the curtain. This book is a comprehensive and informative guide to a fascinating and elusive subject. Individual copies can be purchased on Amazon. For quantity purchases, contact Blue Point Books at (800) 858-1058 or bpbooks@west.net.
TransAct Technologies—EPICENTRAL™ Print System
The new EPICENTRAL™ Print System—connected directly to TransAct’s ServerPort™ device inside the slot machine—is an easy-to-use, cost-efficient software system that enables a casino to internally develop marketing programs and promotional coupons to be distributed to customers on a real-time basis at a slot machine. Casinos can use the system to connect to any existing slot machine, regardless of the game’s manufacturer or the casino’s slot system, as long as the slot machine is equipped with a TransAct Epic 950® printer, thus protecting the casinos’ investment in the printer. The process starts with the EPICENTRAL Coupon Layout Generator, which enables the user to import logos or other graphics onto the coupon and to create and embed common barcode types. These allow casinos to track who is using their coupons and the effectiveness of these new marketing programs. Once these coupons or promotions are created and saved, they are sent to the EPICENTRAL Server Manager. The Server Manager will be loaded with the location or IP address of every slot machine on the casino floor, allowing the ability of targeted or blanket messages to occur.
